Tangerine
Tangerine

Citrus reticulata Blanco var. tangerina, commonly known as tangerine or mandarin, is native to Southeast Asia. Its exact place of origin is uncertain, but it is believed to have originated in the regions of China and Indochina (which includes countries like Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, and Thailand).

Tangerines have been cultivated and grown in Southeast Asia for thousands of years and have a long history of being enjoyed for their sweet and flavorful fruit. From its native region, tangerines were introduced to other parts of the world through trade and exploration. Today, they are widely grown in various subtropical and tropical regions, including countries like Spain, Italy, the United States (Florida and California), and many others. Ours is sourced from Italy.
